Tic Tac Toe by suzvoy (WiP, slash, Clex) A distraught Lex goes to Clark after Lionel collaspes from a brain aneurysm. A compelling read that makes you want to know more. Currently on a little break while Suz was writing Faking It coming next but still should be read so you can dive right in when Suz gets back to it. A very compelling read. It was exquisite torture waiting for new parts when it was being updated, but with this link you get the first 14 chapters. ^_^

Faking It by suzvoy (series, complete, CLex) Suz's cliche pretendingtobegay!CLex fic. It's Suz, it's good. Go read!

No Darker Than Yours by rivkat (series, complete, Clex, Clark/Bruce) OMG! It's finally complete and I'm denying myself from reading the last part, to make these recs, so I hope you all are grateful. Lol. But everyone, and that means you should read this fic. I don't even mind the Clark/Bruce as it's essential to the plot and *sigh* what a plot. It's like a plotgasm, with terrific writing. rivkat should be canonized in the SV fandom for this.

Lex let out a breath, loud over the telephone wires. "It would have been anyway. Clark is like that, you think you'll just peel back one more layer and then you'll know what it is about him. And maybe a new obsession would be good for you. But not this one, not Clark Kent. There's enough insanity in Gotham. Stick with the kind of crazy that ends up in Arkham, not the kind that walks the streets of Metropolis."

Bruce leaned back in his chair, staring at Kent's nondescript finances. "Thanks for calling, Lex. We should stay in touch."

That earned him a snort. "Feel free to call me when you realize what you've gotten yourself into. I so rarely give advice, I'm looking forward to saying 'I told you so.'

Smallville Under Snowfall A December fic/art community with some great entries like We're straight. No, really. by cjandre (oneshot, CLex) and How to Fuck Up College 101 by lunarwolfik (oneshot, ChLana) Straight is a cute, smoopy, HOT fic and while I don't usually read femmeslash, How to Fuck Up College is sweet and poignant. It makes you feel for characters that usually I kind of send to the periphery as I'm usually all for the CLex.

Lois & Clark Go To Smallville Challenge with two of my favorites being Betting On the Truth by mahaliem (oneshot, CLex) and Hideaway by rivkat (oneshot, CLex) Both are hillarious with nice sex scenes by two authors whose work I would always read.

Betting On the Truth quote:
Lex put Clark in the cage, closing the door behind him with a resounding bang. "My fantasy is about to come true."

Clark swallowed his fear and let anger take its place. "I should've listened to my father. He was right about you. I should've never trusted a Luthor."

An evil smile played over Lex's lips. "This won't hurt a bit."

"You are one sick fuck, you know that!" Clark shouted.

Lex's smile became broader. "You have no idea. But a bet's a bet."
