And does anyone know if anyone else is continuing to scanlate the series after chapter 215 and where I would find them? I know FET said they were planning them but wouldn't host them on their site.

Prince of Tennis or Tenipuri is an ongoing anime and manga series in Japan that revolves around Echizen Ryoma and the other tennis regulars in Seigaku Jr. High. Ryoma is the coolest little kid around and has a Ranma like quality of always getting the job done and learning from his losses. The supporting cast is great too, with all the other regulars and members of the tennis club fleshed out so you care about their matches and what happens to them.

The manga is being translated at MangaCity and the anime is being offered subbed through Anime Otakus. Both are great, but I especially like the anime as the cast are just so bishounen and the voice actors are to die for. So if you want to be sucked into another great series, check it out.

Private Hells by [livejournal.com profile] aishuu is a Tenipuri gen piece that I believe stays very true to the show. Fuji decides to have a little fun at Ryoma's expense and fails to mention that the girls' tennis team will be practicing on their courts one day.

It wasn't something Fuji and Tezuka plotted consciously; no, they didn't need to do such things. Rather, Tezuka had an agenda, and Fuji, being the perceptive person he was, managed catch onto exactly what those plans were. And if there was one thing Fuji couldn't resist, it was meddling in a good plan, and adding a bit of his own touch to it.

It would, of course, work out the way Tezuka wanted it to... with a few modifications that Fuji found most amusing. All in all, if Echizen Ryoma knew exactly what his senpais had in store for him that day, he would have grabbed Karupin and crawled back into bed and not gotten up for the next month.

Ryoma and Momo's Big Big Closet Adventure by [livejournal.com profile] pengiesama is a Momo/Ryoma one-shot. Momoshiro and Echizen are locked in a closet after running away from switching Kaidou's shampoo with hair dye.

"This is all your fault, you know."

"Yup."

Ryoma continued beating his forehead with a nearby broomstick. "You don't seem particularly apologetic."

Momo yawned, settling his head on his arms against the wall. "Cause that's all you've been saying to me for the half-hour we've been in here."

Momo watched Ryoma continue to whack his head with the wooden stick. Somewhere in the back of his head, he wondered why the kid hadn't knocked himself out yet. Whatever the case, it didn't really look very relaxing.

Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap. Whap.

Mamushi-ke (Mamushi Family) and its sequel Kanzen Shiai by figbash is an Inui/Kaidou fic that looks into the lives of the Kaidou family and the lengths Inui will go to get into Kaidou's pants.

Looking in upon this same scene, an outside observer would have had perhaps a different reaction. There was definitely some strange ki floating around the Kaidou breakfast table. It was all the more disturbing because you weren’t quite sure what it was. The eldest son’s habit of hissing was bizarre in and of itself, and why didn’t the mother realize this? There was something intangibly creepy about his entire demeanor. Little 11-year-old Hazue was almost as scary as his brother. Was he warning him about getting burned by the udon or was it some sort of veiled threat...? Both boys spoke with their father’s characteristic deep-voiced gruffness. It was obvious that the father had supplied the creepiness gene here. But at the same time they were all very polite and well-behaved. Both sons got good grades, and Kaoru even excelled in English. The father was doing well at his company, moving swiftly ahead in his career, and the house that they lived in was quite nice. A certain love existed between them all. Was it possible that the Kaidou family was simply unaware of their weirdness? They were somehow very snakelike, save for the mother, who was more like a beautiful mouse.
