Some of you might have already read these, but what the heck. Also, does anyone know a good site/journal for keeping up with the Smallville livejournal fandom? I already read goss' recs and visit the TWOP forums.

Frantic, or, the Day There Were No Porkchops, part 2, and part 3 by [livejournal.com profile] seperis with epilogue by [livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn (complete, clex, futurefic, humor) Sentient goo is after the boys and the only option is for Clark and Lex to hide out in one of Lex's secret labs. Delightful and funny, a nice change of pace if you're bogged down by Jenn's other series, Pretty and just want a light pick me up. Some of the dialog is also just too funny not to give a sample,

"I don't think that's any of your business," Lex says, with an edge of martyrdom that makes Clark grit his teeth. "But if you must know, I'm recovering from a bitter divorce--"

"Lex, you left her on a deserted island for a month and called her Helen the Third. *Please*."

"She was trying to kill me!"

"And you're not seeing a pattern here? You *marry psychopaths*. You date normal women, then you marry the scary ones. I mean, even Mom was saying--"

"Don't you dare bring your mother into this--"

"I'm just saying, serving her papers on a beach in the Bermuda Triangle after a month of isolation might have been a little over the top, you know?" Clark vaguely remembers prying the knife out of her hand before handing her over to the Met Police Department. Lex's ex-wives have their own cellblock. He hears they've started a bridge club recently.

Everything Is Fine by Henry Jones Jr. [livejournal.com profile] sabershadowkat (oneshot, clex, written for CLFF 12th Wave challenge) They only hit until you cry. Okay, this time the author summary is os I don't give away too much of the fic. This piece is incredibly moving and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed he writing and just wish there was more. Just...argh!

Smallville: Infinite Possibilities by Henry Jones Jr. [livejournal.com profile] sabershadowkat (WiP, episode based, clex, AU) A series set with the premise that instead of the Kents staying in Smallville after the meteor shower, the family hightail it to Metropolis with their new charge, deciding to return when the series begins. Compelling and engaging story telling, Henry Jones Jr., does a great job with how events would be different in this universe and especially her Lex. While it explains how Lex winds up in Smallville in the story, too, I have to add that I just adore him and his interaction with Clark.

Bliss by [livejournal.com profile] siobhan_w (oneshot, clex) Clark experiences a little bliss. And that's not me being lazy this time and just using the author's summary. Really, this fic isn't very long, but it perfectly portrays Clark's dorkdom, giving you warm fuzzies. A quick read, that you won't regret.

Predictions by [livejournal.com profile] mistressace (oneshot, clex, futurefic, minor character death) It's been a bad month for Clark Kent. <--- cheesy summary. Nicely written and with a great ending, which I am a sucker for. The end. No, seriously, I don't know what exactly to say without gushing and spoiling the whole thing, but it's definitely worth the effort.

Are you looking for SV rec journals or fannish journals? With WIPs, I would recommend [livejournal.com profile] murklins. And [livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn has her rec journal, [livejournal.com profile] talkoncorners, and an extensive rec site here (http://medicationforsleepdeprivation.popullus.net/recs.htm). She is also pretty up to date on fannish stuff as she moderated a lot of SV communities. Is that what you're looking for? I have more links here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/angelv001/13782.html)

Wow! Thanks for the links. [livejournal.com profile] murklins seems like a journal I'll have to stalk since he/she also posts about HP series too. I've already checked out [livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn's rec journal, but thanks for reminding me about it. However, the best thing was your own link. There's so much I haven't looked at in there, that I'm going to have to bookmark it and peruse it at my leisure. Thanks so much!
