musewhipped says in the title, this fic ties up some loose ends in the book. I really enjoyed the author's style here and how he/she was able to weave in details of the book to really make this a wonderful closer. Definitely recommended if you're wandering into the fandom after reading the book.

Megan by Min Farshaw (series, complete, post-book, Howl/Sophie) Set post-book, Megan Jenkins wants to know what her little brother has been up to while away from Wales. This is a funny and intersting look at Howl's life away from Ingary really fleshes out his family from the glimpse we see in the book. Plus Min farshaw's Megan is a delightful person and a pleasure to read.

Howl responded in typical slither – outer fashion . He slammed the door shut in Megan's face.

The Seventh Son, Wicked Lady, and Dark Lord by

rhymer23 (oneshots, complete, post-book, gen, Howl/Sophie) Three interconnected pieces about three people who accidentally bump into Howl and Sophie. From the summary of Seventh Son: Cedric is a seventh son of a seventh son, so of course it goes without saying that he will save the whole of Ingary. But what will happen when he quite literally bumps into a man in a rather impressive red and silver suit...?

A Woman True and Fair by The S (

white_death) (series, WIP, Howl/Sophie, bookverse) A marvelous re-telling of Howl's Moving Castle from Howl's point of view rather than Sophie's. Follows very closely to the book, but takes a great spin off of it (Howl has a different interpretation of things, of course). The author infuses Howl's view of Sophie with more romance than the book, but makes it believable in contex to the book. I should stop rambling, but you all should go read this. It's just a perfect companion to HMC.
