More HP recs because it's probably one of the only fandoms I read that will always have more fics.

Little Stone Heart by Kat and Tzigane(complete, slash, Snape/Draco)
Lonely Letters by [livejournal.com profile] brokeni (one-shot, Harry/Draco)
A Rare Descent, Passing Through, The Eleventh Doorkeeper, and The Seasonless World by the lady of shallot (series, incomplete, gen)
Patience and Elated Wisdom by Trunks (one-shot, Harry/Draco)
Draco Malfoy and His Unknown Fate by Jitterbug (complete, series, slash, Harry/Draco)

Little Stone Heart by Kat and Tzigane(complete, slash, Snape/Draco) Draco finds something intereseting while snooping in his Preofessor's drawers. I really liked this story, Malfoy is very cute while at the same time remaining very evil while Severus is trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

Something caught his eyes from within the deep drawer, tossed carelessly into a corner. It was a dirty-looking, palm-sized bit of stone, caked in mud, but there was a strange glint to one edge. Like the privileged boy that he was, Draco pocketed the stone, and the closed the desk drawer.

Lonely Letters by [livejournal.com profile] brokeni (one-shot, Harry/Draco Written for one of the [livejournal.com profile] contrelamontre challenges, I don't wantto give away too much of the story by writning a summary, so here goes the author: Draco writes letters. Harry doesn't write back. Very lovely Draco voice.

A Rare Descent, Passing Through, The Eleventh Doorkeeper, and The Seasonless World by the lady of shallot (series, incomplete, gen) And event though I am almost sure that shallot never plans on updating this series ever again, I still want to rec it. The HP universe that she creates is so unique and just speaks so well to the reader that you almost think that it's really happening. It's also nice that she paints Draco as someone that not also a complete bastard, but human too. Just gorgeous writing. I don't know what more to say and no quote either, deal.

Patience and Elated Wisdom by Trunks (one-shot, Harry/Draco) Fluff, smoop. But amusing smoop, so give it a try. And if songfics aren't your bag, the fic works perfectly fine if you skip the lyrics.

Looking back down at the piece of parchment in front of me, I inwardly ask myself why I even decided to do this in the first place. I've been having these problems for years, so why do I choose NOW to show them?

Maybe I just have terrible timing.

I dip the tip of my quill into the dark green ink, keeping my focus on the parchment.

Harry,

All night spent awake and all I had managed to write was his name. Maybe I just have no nerve at all. After all, I'm not even sure if I am going to send it or not, although that was my first intention.

Draco Malfoy and His Unknown Fate by Jitterbug (complete, series, slash, Harry/Draco) Nice, solid series that you can sink your teeth into. Draco Malfoy is disinherited by his father and is forced to live outside of the shield of the Malfoy name. Jitterbug writes a well, written, compelling look into Draco and internal house politics within the back drop of sixth year and the continuing war. I like her Draco; he doesn't buckle under the pressure and he is still his snarky self. I also liked how she introduced the relationship between Draco and Harry. There's conflict and boylove and a good read.

Slowly, it hit him. He had choices. He could make his own decisions, for good or for ill, and reap the consequences, without his father peering over his shoulder constantly. His life was his own now, though the price he had paid to get it had been far too high. Even taking that into consideration, freedom was a heady thing. He could even start a fucking flobberworm farm if he wanted to - not that he really did, but still. It was mind-boggling. It was like he’d been stuck in a gilded cage all his life, and suddenly he was free. He just didn’t know if that was a good thing. Draco knew that any animal caged for too long rarely survived in the wild. Draco didn’t even know if he had enough money to stay at the Leaky Cauldron all summer. And he’d have to buy his school supplies. Money had never been a concern before, unless he counted whining to his father for a handful of galleons or an increase in his allowance as managing his finances, which he didn’t.

There is also a sequel in the works, which can be found here.
