For a change of pace, some webcomic recs, otherwise known as a whole new way of killing time. I'll be going back to fanfic recs later tomorrow, but I was getting a little sick of seeing the constant bombardment of the same fandoms on my recent entries page.
8-bit Theater A hilarious sprite comic based on the old NES Final Fantasy games. Black Mage, one of the main characters is especially funny. He's the evil, maniac character that you wish you could get away with being. Some familiarity with role playing games recommended.
Bob and George the Comic Strip Megman sprite based comic, cleverly funny, you wonder how the author gets from point a to b at times. Need some knowledge of gaming and Mega Man in particular to get the most of the comics.
Little Gamers Webcomic that runs the gauntlet from gaming, politics, and the difference between men and women. One of my favorite webcomics. No knowledge of gaming necessary, but would help in appreciation.
The Adventures of Super Ho A porn obsessed super hero and a female straight "man" battle a bunch of eccentric badguys. Quirky, funny, and cute.
Boy meets Boy I'm not sure who hasn't heard of Sandra Fuhr's webcomic in the slash/yaoi community, but in case you missed it, give it a try. Sandra's artwork evolves through her comics and her characters have so much depth and thought put into them that there are even fanfics devoted to her series. A great ride that recently concluded last year.
Friendly Hostility Sandra's comicc series that follows Collin and Fox from BmB and expands to include Collin and Fox's families and lives before they meet the cast in BmB. Another great comic that Sandra is working on now.
Megatokyo The story of two gamers stuck in Japan and the trial and tribulations only two unique personalities can get into. Wonderful art and funny, sometimes moving story telling.
Strong Bad Emails Part of Homestarrunner.com, animated .gif that are funny as hell. A new one out every week, dealing with all kinds of issues, but the thing I like best is that Strong Bad is a grammar Nazi.
Nice Hair A webcomic about Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton by N, I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's inventive, and funny, and maybe a little over my head, but amusing none the less.
And some random fanfic links, because you can always use some more boy on boy action.
